Glass fiber cloth is made from glass fibre yarns woven in various thicknesses and styles by means of plain, twill and satin weaves. The content of silicon dioxide in glass fiber yarn can reach 65%. This material make glass fiber cloth can withstand temperatures up to 550⁰C.
Fiberglass cloth has many advantages: Good eletcrical insulation properties, high tensile strength; excellent fire and heat resistance; thermal conductivity (making it useful for insulation applications); and chemical resistance properties similar to glass. And can easily combine with many resins with high intensity and quick wet out.
