Basalt fiber roving is collective beam, which combine stranded parallel protofilament with sub-thread parallel protofilament in no woven condition. Tensile strength of 7-13μm Woven Roving≥0.65N/tex, modulus of elasticity≥95Gpa, elongation at break≥2.6%. It can be used for weaving, winding and knitting kinds of composites prefab products.

Basalt fiber textile is twisted with a plurality of continuous basalt filament, diameter of each filament is less than or equal to 9 microns. The twist is 60 ~ 100 times per meter and the direction is Z or S. The temperature tolerance is 800ºC.
It is similar to carbon fiber and fiberglass, having better physicomechanical properties than fiberglass, but being significantly cheaper than carbon fiber.It is suitable for use in the production of textiles, sewing, crocheting, knitting, weaving, embroidery and rope making.
